Hello, thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Kevin Meadows. I grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia (Go Hokies!). I trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour at the age of five. During my teenage years I was a nominal Christian at best.
At age 16, I was diagnosed with an electrical condition with my heart called Long QT Syndrome. I received an implantable ICD June 13, 2003 (Friday the 13th). I struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and social anxiety my final two years in high school. Most people would say my health issues have characterized my life. But I hope people would say that my life has been defined by the work of Jesus Christ. That is my heart’s desire and goal. I submitted to the call to preach God’s Word in the Summer of 2005. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Piedmont Baptist College and Graduate School. I was ordained to the Gospel ministry on January 16, 2010 and am currently the Youth Pastor at Christian Community Baptist Church in Pilot Mountain, NC. You may be wondering why I have chosen “exagoradzo” as my user name. This is a Koine Greek word meaning “to buy out of.” The theological term “redemption” comes from this idea. I am so thankful that my Saviour bought me ought of the slave market of sin, never to return. I could never repay Him. Thanks again for visiting. Please leave comments.
God Bless,
Kevin
